There is some amazing photography coming out of the Lightroom Adventure. It will be stunning to see the Tasmanian countryside in the new book to be published. By the looks of Leo’s efforts I’m sure he will meet his aim of having at least one published.

I found this today while googling any info about Leo’s visit to Tassie. It’s sad to think that The Lab was going to have 25 episodes shot in our own backyard. I’m sure this would have mobilised the Oz TWiT Army to descend on Tassie.

Radar Promotions Australia has been awarded one of our largest contracts ever to organise a Canadian-based television program, called “The Lab with Leo Laporte”, which has been on-air for 10 years. The program is to be aired across Canada and Australia on Austar and Foxtel from October 2007. Twenty-five one-hour shows will be shot in Tasmania, in conjunction with the Tasmanian Department of Economic Development, profiling Tasmania as a destination worldwide.
Radar Promotions Australia is to organise all on-ground logistics. This will possibly include an enormous IT trade show, a world-wide naming rights sponsor and a live studio audience. Further details will be announced.

Anyone else who has taken photos at the meet up please tag the images with “Leo Laporte, Sydney”. We’ll get an image gallery here shortly to pull the images in automatically. For now please try the link above.
The Sydney meet up was a resounding success and Leo was very appreciative of his Aussie TWiT Army taking the time to come visit at the Sydney Airport. Thanks to Jenna Fox for the video below.
